Stonehenge
If Those Rocks Could Talk
Stonehenge radiocarbon dating suggests that the stones were first placed around 2400 BC. This is a time before the wheel was invented. Without the invention of modern tools the question remains of how these up to 50 ton slabs of stone were placed. Some were from over 100 miles away. The second most important question was why? What is the purpose of Stonehenge?
One of the favourite suggestions is that the aliens did it. If aliens had the technology to travel to earth they certainly had the capabilities to move rock. In the 1968 book, Chariots of the Gods?, it is suggested that ancient religions and technologies were given to ancient civilizations by ancient aliens who were perceived, at the time, as gods.
Sightings of UFOs and crop circles are standard in this area and could explain that aliens are coming back to see how we are doing.
A newly discovered Superhenge and Woodhedge has archaeologists revisiting their original ideas for the purpose of Stonehenge. An international team of experts have been collected as part of the Stonehenge Hidden Landscape Project and have been mapping the entire area using the latest technologies. More than 15 more underground sites have been found. While scientists believe that Stonehenge was an ancient ritual and burial ground, there is no explanation of why the stones had to be so big. The much more plausible idea surfaces that the size of these stones are to support the structures built upon them.
These are foundations.
Archaeologists believe that Stonehenge’s two rings of rock may be just part of a much larger structure based on the earthen hedge that surrounds it. Perhaps the purpose was some kind of spaceport or city. Now archaeologists are questioning much more and are looking into the idea that Stonehenge is actually the remaining ruins of an alien city.

Stonehenge that sits so quietly and strong, as it has for thousands of years, now has a new buzz of excitement as archaeologists piece together its history with so much more information.
